Take part in an alternative way to spend your weekend or spring break! Volunteer in communities throughout the U.S. and abroad, and learn about issues faced by the people you encounter. Return to campus with new friends and renewed desire to make change.
Fall 2012 Weekend Retreat:
In Fall 2012, we will travel to the Center for Courageous Kids in Scottsville, Kentucky to serve as a weekend camp counselors for kids and families affected by Dravet Syndrome. This trip will be October 12-14, 2012 and will cost $25/student (all-inclusive).
Winter 2012:
New this year is the Alternative Winter Break program!! This year, we will be traveling to Nicaragua for Global Youth Empowerment with the host organization Outreach 360. For more information, check out the 2012 Winter Service Break Trip tab. This event will take place December 15-22nd, 2012.
Spring 2013 Weekend Retreat:
In Spring 2013, we will travel to the Center for Courageous Kids in Scottsville, Kentucky to serve as a weekend camp counselors for kids and families affected by autism. This trip will be February 1-3, 2013 and will cost $20/student (all-inclusive).

Guyan Valley, WV: Poverty in Appalachia
Atlanta, GA: Refugee Resettlement
Biloxi, MS: Rebuilding After Katrina
Washington, DC: Hunger and Homelessness
Santo Domingo, Ecuador: Global Health and Wellness
Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic: Global Youth Empowerment
These events will take place during the week of Spring Break, March 9-17th, 2013.
